Managers trained

In small groups, over two two-day sessions.

2 × 2 days
Intensive format

Built on real cases: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

01 · Context

The starting point

International industrial group specialising in packaging: tubes, caps, components. Microsoft 365 and Copilot are deployed. The leadership launches a pilot aimed at managers — people who handle pricing, cost, sales-activity and HR files every day. Time saved on those tasks has direct leverage on their teams.

02 · Objective

What had to work

Make Copilot concrete on real industrial data, directly in the managers’ own files.

Demanding managers with little time: every hour had to produce a usable habit.
Work on their cross-functional cases — Sales Excellence, sales, finance, HR — rather than generic examples.
Build the security and verification reflexes on sensitive data: prices, costs, payroll.
Create a shared frame across the management population.
03 · Approach

What we did

Two two-day sessions, on site, in small groups, built as workshops on their own files.

Step 01

Framing and good practice

Generative AI fundamentals, where Copilot sits in the Microsoft environment, security rules for sensitive data — prices, costs, HR — and verification reflexes.

Step 02

Copilot × Excel workshop

The core of the programme, on real cases: price-table consistency, cross-checking prices against costs to protect margins, multi-year activity analysis, cost allocation by business unit.

Step 03

Copilot × HR and modelling workshop

An HR base maintained as you go, three-year payroll projection by region, a model anticipating joiners and leavers, costs visualised in real time.

Step 04

Copilot × Word and PowerPoint workshop

Document generation and rewording, structuring deliverables, improving existing decks, producing management materials.

04 · Results

Impact

More than 20 managers trained, all leaving with uses they could apply immediately to their own files. Managers now share a common frame: the same good practice, the same caution rules on sensitive data, the same verification reflexes. The Excel workshops proved the tool’s value on high-stakes tasks — pricing consistency checks, margin protection, payroll projection. The manager format created credible advocates to spread the practice through the teams.

“Workshops on our own files: people started using it during the training.”
